I am Nanayaa, I am a Queen; a Goddess. I am of South American and Ghanaian love that fought its way past boundaries and prejudice. I am a black woman.
Being bi-racial and raised in Australia, I was always told I wasn’t ‘black enough’; that I was ‘white on the inside’, but the tone of my skin and the tone of my voice will never define my value, because black is beautiful. My soul is beautiful. My heart is beautiful.
I am proud to be a part of Sabo’s growing movement to increase the inclusion of diverse beauty. Together we will grow, inspire and change the world.
