In honor of International Women’s Day, this week we’re going back to the place in Kenya that continues to be our ‘why’ as we build SAMARA. We will be introducing you to three bright young women whose stories deeply touched us.
We will be sharing their stories with you, how they inspire us and highlighting some of the inequalities and barriers that young women in these villages face on their path to higher education. As we celebrate these strong women, we also recognize that although International Women’s Day is a day of celebration, we still have a long way to go in supporting and uplifting women all over the world.
As many of you know, impact is at the core of what we do, and this year for IWD we wanted to continue to give back to a community we feel deeply for. Happy International Women’s Week!
