As we reflect on 2021, we can't help but feel extremely grateful to be able to keep building SAMARA alongside our incredible community. This year marks our fourth year in existence as a brand. The past 4 years have made us even more excited about our commitment to creating impact and our relentless search for better materials.
We've made bags out of apple juice waste, we've created products from plastic that was once in the ocean. Now, that plastic can be infinitely recycled so it never has to go into the ocean again. We created impact through Soular and had a distribution in Kenya this summer, where we provided over 700 children with access to clean, safe light every night so they don't have to use the carcinogenic kerosene lamp to do their homework.
In 2022, we have so much more in the pipeline, because if there's anything the past 4 years have taught us, it's that the fashion industry has so much potential to be better, and so much power to create change in the world. We're excited to tackle that in a whole new way, and we can't wait to share more soon.
