Our Mini Scarf is live now. Here’s a few facts: each of these is made from 2.5 single use plastic water bottles that would otherwise have ended up in a landfill. Recycled polyester, also known as rPET, is obtained by melting down existing plastic and re-spinning it into new polyester fiber. Recycled polyester is the same as virgin polyester in terms of quality, but its production requires 60% percent less energy compared to virgin polyester. So this scarf is made from 70% recycled polyester, and 30% organic cotton. The organic cotton is grown without the use of chemicals or pesticides, produces less co2 and needs much less water. This print is something we had custom designed, and is inspired by the traditional Indian bandhani print, which is so close to our roots. And yes, it can be worn as a top too (use a hair tie to be creative) 💫
