This is so surreal and so crazy. When I started @thesoularbackpack in 2015, I thought it was the best way for me to create impact in the world, and we saw impact through it. Whilst working on it, I realized that poverty is intricate and that businesses and brands have SO much power to create change. As we started SAMARA, it was with the goal to sustainably support Soular, and to create better fashion.
As we grow, this 50k milestone comes with so much responsibility. Thereās the responsibility to create a brand that stands for something good, then thereās the responsibility to provide value every single day, the responsibility to use this platform and community to create better fashion, and to ultimately make the world better.
Some of you use our bags for some of the most special days of your lives - weddings, vacations, first days of work, bridesmaids gifts - we are always so honoured that you choose us, and that you choose to be here. Most of SAMARAās customers come to us because you tell them about us. We truly couldnāt do all this without you. So today, we celebrate you, we celebrate us and we celebrate a future full of so many more good things to come.
