Deeply touched to see my dear @MarciaChatelain this evening. For those who don't know Marcia Chatelain (previously on the faculty of the University of Oklahoma's Joe C. and Carole Kerr McClendon Honors College) is Associate Professor (History) at Georgetown University. She researches a wide array of issues in African-American history. She also writes and teaches about African-American migration, women's and girls' history, and race and food. We are both members of the British Council's Transatlantic Network 2020 - we met through the network 9 years ago and have stayed friends ever since. ????
