Lancôme are now offering the widest range of shades for women, ever...40 shades no less. I have struggled with finding my right tone for ages, previously I mixed 2-3 shades to find my perfect match which led to skin irritations (depending on whether I am mixing oil or water based foundations) or made me go from looking ashy to red-based (I know I haven't lost you on that one). Beyond the aesthetic convenience, I don't think society should only cater for such a limited skin colour range when we are so cosmopolitan, metropolitan and culturally diverse. It's disheartening to not find your shade, as if there aren't enough of you to warrant a new pot of foundation. Lancôme are joining the conversation and changing that. (3/7)
