Once a Sea Lion is rescued from the beach, the real work starts. Earlier this year the @marinemammalcare rescued a sea lion pup who was extremely malnourished. This video shows the very beginning of the recovery process which entails learning how to eat tiny chunks of fish. His story had a very happy ending as he put on weight, learned how to compete for fish on his own, and was successfully returned to his ocean home.
