When I started surfing 10 years ago, I was looking for thoughtful, stylish surfers who were more than bikini models and contest athletes— multidisciplinary water women, environmentalists, storytellers, wave dancers. We finally met IRL, right here. Our conversations—by email, text, and voice—continually challenge and stretch my worldview in the best way with her compassion, yet criticism when it's due.
