The tube! If you’re riding a board any bigger than a shortboard, the most important element to tube riding is making sure your back foot is close to the inside rail. This will engage the rail into the wave (wave gets very steep when it’s about to barrel!). So by putting extra pressure on the inside rail, it gives more control and drive.
