#seeatiptimetuesday @mele_saili shows us how to maintain composure during a backside noseride. Sometimes grabbing your rail on a backside noseride will help stabilize the board, and give it speed. Use the grab rail technique if there’s a speedy section in front of you and you need to gain speed/stability. By pulling up on the board with your hard, it helps to engage the other rail more into the wave, which helps generate more speed. Doing exercises on land to get comfortable going from a standing to a squat position is very beneficial for building leg strength needed for holding noserides in the pocket! While we’re at home, practice on your floor as if you’re on a wave! Visualizing surfing on Land helps prepare you for when the time comes to play on the waves. Footage by @dylangordon
