Tip Time Tuesday Backside Noseriding! If you feel like you are sliding out on your walkway to the nose on your backhand, use your back foot to engage the rail into the wave, which sometimes requires having your foot closer to the inside rail. Walking to the nose on your backhand utilizes core strength to keep the board under you. Here you can see @sierralerback holding her noserides, where her core is lifting through the posture. Watch how she establishes a rhythm to her moves, placing each step as the ocean calls for it. Work on your footwork while going backside, it is a different motion than cross-stepping on your frontside, requiring different foot placement and muscle memory. Versatility in surfing is always fun! Have fun out there! #seeatiptimetuesday
