Begin by switching your board so that the fin is in front of you, facing the shore. Next, try shifting back on your board to allow the fin to rise slightly out of the water as you paddle into the wave. You will then need to face your board at a 45-degree angle keeping your weight towards the back of the board and the fin above the water. Once you feel the speed of the wave, shift your weight to the front, allowing the fin in the water, which will begin to swoop your board in a full circle.
