It’s #SeeaTipTimeTuesday ! What makes a good cutback? Simply, speed, foot placement, and body positioning. On a longboard, in order to initiate a cutback, like seen here by @shredsista , the back foot shifts slightly towards the inside rail in order to get the board to engage onto its rail. The more speed going into the turn, and the harder the back foot pushes through the turn, will determine the power of the cutback. Pay attention to your front foot. If your front toes come off the board, shift your feet around to make sure your entire foot stays planted, ensuring more power and balance. Photo by @_lucrecia_ of @shredsista in the Dara Surf Suit.
