For many of us, surfing is more than a sport or activity, the ocean becomes this grand place of wonder, awe, and experience.
To some degree, this ocean time can be spiritual, a communication between you and the earth.
For me, I always feel safer, and more in tune when I say a few words of gratitude to the ocean, and consciously acknowledge the mighty energy I am playing amongst.
