#SeeaTipTimeTuesday
Practice on land ~ many of the positions we get into on a surfboard require us to bend our knees and maintain balance at the same time. In order to build the strength in our legs for these different positions, you can practice on land. Especially for moves like the stretch five that Mele does here, where you bend your back leg fully, it helps to exercise the muscles needed to be able to stand up out of the squat position. Practice with repetition to squatting into your back leg, pretending to have for front leg on the nose.
Then, to come up, use your breath! A deep breath in through the mouth will help give you extra energy as you stand up from the low position!
