Foot placement ~
Lola executes a perfect noseride setup by her precise foot placement.
When going backside on a log, it is important to shift your feet to the inside rail in order to get it to engage him the wave. See when Lola walks back to reset her line, how she adjusts her feet towards the inside rail as she makes her bottom turn.
This foot placement is SO important! Even two inches in the wrong direction, foot placement dramatically changes the way the board responds (especially while turning it!)
Study Lola’s footwork here, and practice paying attention to where your feet are on the board as you’re moving up and down.
Simply, we usually want to shift our feet to the inside rail if we go left or right (the inside rail changes with direction - one is heelside, on is toeside.)
Since Lola is goofy, and on a right, her inside rail is on her heelside rail.
