😎✨⚡️ High Line Pumps!
Because the (perfect!) wave is riffling quickly, maintaining speed down the line is key to keeping up the the wave and not getting caught behind the whitewater. Here, @kelsiemunmantis_shrimp uses pressure on her toes to continually create pumps on the inside rail into the wave- this helps give the board momentum and speed. In the spots where she really needs to get going fast, she uses the high line of the wave to get an extra boost of speed. While it’s the fastest part of the wave, it’s also usually the steepest, so be ready! Keep you pressure through your toes so your inside rail stays engaged. Stay as close to the wave as possible and push through those toes to pump! (This refers to going frontside, so rights for regular, lefts for goofy)
