@cherpendarvis is a true living legend and one of the kindest, most generous souls you’ll ever meet! 💕 Cher was nursing an injury during our time in Oceanside and couldn’t join us in the water, but her positivity and enthusiasm were nothing short of inspiring. Whether she was snapping photos or sharing incredible stories, her presence added so much magic to our day!
Cher is an artist, writer, and surfboard shaper. She and her husband founded Pendoflex Surfboards, renowned for their innovative design inspired by flex tail spoons made by George Greenough. Her groundbreaking contributions recently earned her a place in the International Surfboard Builders Hall of Fame, where she made history as the first woman ever inducted!
Some of our most cherished moments in Oceanside were spent on the beach with Cher, soaking in her wisdom and listening to her incredible journey through surfing. She’s truly one of a kind, and we’re so lucky to learn from her! ❤️
"Now, at 74 years, I’m grateful for mellower, uncrowded conditions that I call 'Princess Waves.' When I paddle out, I gratefully celebrate the ocean and am thankful for each drop of water." - Cher Pendarvis
