Tasting Note by the Wine Avocate:
"Sources in the two highest terraces of the cru and thus limited to just two barriques, the 2017 Enkircher Zeppwingert Riesling Reserve is beautifully clear, fine and even floral on the delicate, crunchy, almost ethereal nose. On the palate, this is a pure, crystalline and salty Riesling with crunchy tannins, lots of stones and salts and great finesse and elegance. This is a highly stimulating Riesling from a great terroir, and you should be extremely happy if, by accident, you have the chance to call it yours. I fear, though, that this review comes too late; but if not, don't hesitate for a second to grab one if you can find it. Tasted in March 2019."
