The 2010 Seleccio Especial exhibits great minerality on the nose, and fine delineation and focus, with touches of crushed stone inflecting the pure black fruit profile with hints of kirsch and orange sorbet lurking underneath. The palate is medium-bodied and very well-balanced, once again defined by its very fine tannins and superb acidity, which lends tension and poise. It caresses the mouth with its silky texture, the finish fanning out across the mouth with pure, unadulterated cassis, black cherries and hints of orange sorbet. Superb. Drink 2016-2028.
