【Godello翻生記】平平哋替代White Burgundy
復活節🐣快到了！在葡萄酒的世界，亦有些品種🍇曾瀕臨絕種，幸能絕處逢生、華麗復活。除了現時在阿根廷發光發亮的Malbec、西班牙的Sumoll外，還有一款白葡萄，它能叫喝盡好酒的酒評女王👑Jancis Robinson為之心動：

Godello原生於西班牙Valdeorras，早熟耐旱，招牌的西柚香味和礦石感非常清新，但易受黴菌感染，在70年代產量跌入谷底，只餘下200株左右。
幸得有心人Horacio Fernández及Luis Hidalgos出手打救，其後亦陸續有知音人加入。其中一位備受注目的是Rafael Palacios。
他在法國及澳洲學藝，回到西班牙Rioja後曾為家族酒莊Palacios Remondo效力，但他獨愛白酒，決定在Valdeorra自立門戶。現時他擁有22.5公頃的葡萄園，土壤以石灰岩和板岩為主，Godello的樹齡由17-92歲不等。
入門版Louro do Bolo來自海拔600米、25年的Godello。於法國木桶發酵、浸渣陳年4個月。
風格乾淨純粹，西柚香氣活潑、酸度清新，礦石感有性格，口感圓潤，確是一支性價比極高的白酒。Jancis Robinson說可媲美white burgundy - “for those who seek a reliable, sensibly priced alternative to fine white burgundy.”
