Using the chain after apply Silca hot melt wax for a month now with a 600 km ride. Love the cleanness of the chain (see the picture of my bike that never clean up the chain for a month) because there is no need to apply any lube on it. The chain is so quiet. Appear to be cheaper than using the loop as I don't have to apply it often. I have done the wax on 3 chains and there is still plenty of wax left that I think I could do it for 5 times at least.
