I have a drop bar bike from 2003 with 25.4 diameter handlebars. Bars did not feel great with my existing Cinelli Cork tape. The Nastro Cuscino tape increases the diameter of the taped bars so it's about the same as my other road bike with 31.8 bars. Plus I get a nice firm cushioned effect. This tape is tough, but not the easiest stuff to work with. It can be stretched, but requires a pull that would break most other tape. Getting it started cleanly near my bar con shifters was a special challenge. The butterfly tapes in the area behind the hoods is brilliant. Josh posted a tape install video on YouTube that is worth a look before you install $50 worth of new bar tape!
