I was thrilled to see when Silca launched their third special edition Titanium Cage, this time in "Rainbow". I purchased a Trek Supercaliber XC bike in a Project One build with the Cosmo paint, and this looked to be a good match.
The cages arrived shortly after I placed my order. They are stunningly beautiful and featherlight. I mounted one of them on my Supercaliber and it looks fantastic, picking up some of the subtle highlights of the bike.
The grip strength of the cage seems good. Not the very tightest, but still quite good. I haven't dropped a bottle yet.
The straws are a nice addition and, well, function like a straw!
If you are looking for something unique built with Silca's typical quality and attention to detail, then these may be for you. If you are on the fence, don't wait, because they will sell out and likely won't be seen again.
