So, first ride after applying SILCA’s “Super Secret Chain Lube”... the verdict?
They did it again...
100km with plenty of shifting and the whole drivetrain feels smoother and much quieter.
The easiest way to compare the performance of the Super Secret Lube with the one I was using previously is by comparing the front derailleur shifting.
Before I could hear the noise of the chain dropping from the big chainring to the small one (nothing “annoying” but it was there). Today? I had to look down more than once to check if the downshift did happen as it was so smooth and silent...
So definitely impressed and it seems like I have found (in my opinion) the ultimate chain lube.
It obviously comes at a premium but to me is well worth it.
Once again, SILCA’s obsessive approach paid off. Chapeau Josh, and chapeau team!
