I've been reading about waxed chains for quite a while, and I was hesitating due to the "prepping" that one needs to do before the first waxing of a new chain. Lo and behold, Silca has done that for us! I put the new chain on yesterday after a thorough cleaning of my drive train. First ride today, and all I can say is I am convinced and converted to waxed chains. I was already using Super Secret Lube on my previous chain, and apparently I can use that on my waxed chain between "dips". I'm a believer now!
