Still, in the search for improvement over traditional manufacturing methods, we realized that it provides about ten times tighter control than a human could do alone. So what's the benefit of that? Those tight tolerances allowed us to use thinner-walled, larger-diameter titanium tubing with essentially no heat-affected zone. The end result is a lighter, stronger, and more secure cage.
