Funny story about this photo... No shame, but I asked a gentleman to snap this photo. I pass by the courthouse on the way to work, and these two older gentlemen who work the entrance always say hi to me.
I felt fab with my "Be Extra" shirt, (faux) fur coat, and feather headband. So what did I do? I walked up the stairs and asked one of them (who I later found out was named Stephen) to snap a photo of me. Stephen happily obliged and I showed him the exact angle. As I was posing, the other man, Spencer, busted out laughing before making his way towards us. (Swipe to see the moment Spencer caught me in action 😆) Spencer told me not to worry because he's pretty sure Stephen enjoyed the moment more than me
I mention this story because 1) some of you wonder who takes my photos, but that's a topic for another day, and 2) I'm on a friendship theme the past few days and this is just one of the ways I think social media brings us together.
In the digital age, live human contact is something we shouldn't take for granted.
I exchanged pleasantries with Stephen and Spencer again this morning and it put me in a good mood for the work day! Making new friends as always!
