Probably the most over-engineered component on our entire Nano System is the sparge sprayer. We worked with the UW-Milwaukee Prototyping Center to help develop a sprayer with a super-fine, controlled sparge spray pattern for maximum efficiencies. The design required optimizing the geometry and shape along with creating the simultaneous 5-axis machining program to produce this extremely complex part (although it doesn’t look it on first blush). Our sparge sprayer is a perfect example of Spike’s tireless dedication to design and development – we test, test and then test some more, until we produce the best possible products available.
