😭 story time 📔 SSYS was never supposed to sell athleisure. The black leggings and muted palettes of modern day activewear never excited me, so I never wore it. After Covid, I was kinda forced to sell active because the dresses and office wear that I had simply wasn’t selling. I was shocked by the positive response and knew I had to keep it going. Month after month I’d sell athleisure in blacks and greys and knew that I’d get burnt out so fast. At the end of 2021 I vividly remember being at market with our activewear vendors and I whispered to celeste, gosh I wish we could do this ourselves because I’m so bored here. She looked at me dead serious and said “we can and we will” and it was history from there. We have worked so hard to bring something to our customers that not only FITS and FUNCTIONS but is fun to wear! Sunday will mark the 17th mini collection we’ve designed and dropped and I couldn’t be more proud. We want to bring the color back to athleisure just for our customers and make them feel exclusive and flattered because not every other gal at the gym or in carline will be wearing the same thing.
