Right here on our doorstep in Sydney the first Escape bag was made. Hours of working with our maker mastering its construction. He shook his head and wondered why we wouldn’t take short cuts? Why wouldn’t we just use piping instead of sailing rope? Why wouldn’t we just sew traditional binding around the top of the bag instead of laborious hours of heat bonding? Why do we insist each pattern be cut by hand? The answer was in our determination to ensure our unique design was made true to our vision.
