“In the scale of each sculpture the density is similar – quite dense and doesn’t usually get bigger than the scale of me. The scale needs to be seen and understood at a distance. There is a message in this that is showcasing how much waste there is in NYC, it is seen as a burden to be walking on the sidewalk when there is so much garbage – there needs to be a change in quality of life when looking at the waste on our streets”. – Niki Lederer
