I came across this photo yesterday and it reminded me of how far we have come and I wanted to thank you. Thank you for your shared love of our Tings and our brand and all of your support - reviews, purchases, messages, posts. As a small business owner, I see every order. 🥰
I operate this instagram myself and I get to chat to a lot of you often - and it’s so nice. I love that you love what we do.
This time last year, String Ting was still not my full time job and I was feeling so down at the thought of having to find a new role when my contract ended. I was desperate to make it work but could never imagine a world where I could have a sustainable business monthly based off my initial £70 investment in materials.
The growth from December to March was completely insane (thanks to basically the most famous and discerning creative women in the world - who weirdly, answered my instagram DMs!) and what I had once thought would not be possible, quickly became a reality. And with it, six part time jobs, a studio, and incredible agency and brand partners (Megan I love you - I could not do this without you @mvpr_nyc) - thank you @iamchingregory for smashing Black Friday and @jirojiz for our little mascots that completely make the brand and @r.c.photo for shooting the Tings so perfectly and @mmbpltd for creating my brand and delivering my first ever campaign 💕💕💕💕💕 @katiejanehillier for always picking up the phone and my husband for being cool as I proceeded to run a business with six people in our house for a year as it slowly ate the living room!
It takes a huge team to deliver our little ladies to you - shipping three days a week all over the world.
