I started @string_ting in June 2020 after doing a beaded bracelet fundraiser with my kids during the first lockdown in London. From there, I just kept beading because I loved it and they were weird times and it was something happy to look forward to and people seemed to get a lot of joy from what I was making. Nearly one year on, I want to bring the brand forward a little bit by commissioning some mascots that embody the spirit of the brand. These characters have been drawn by London based illustrator @jirojiz and the brief was simple “if string ting were people, who would they be”. Over the next few months they are going to come to life in various forms, starting with some new Giphy stickers and some IRL stickers which are coming soon. I hope you love them and they make you smile. Better days are coming and I think these little guys all see that too. My daughter loves the pink heart the most - and I think I’m probably the orange heart running around with a giant string ting on my chest looking kind of wired but loving it 💗 (for sparkly giphy sticker peeps search String Ting in your Giphy search bar) - and if you made it to the end of this post, thank you so much for following and being a part of String Ting. Your support is everything to me and my team. The business has created five part time jobs in south east london during an incredibly difficult time and to-date we have donated over 5K to charitable causes and justgiving campaigns ⛓💗✌🏽✨🥺
