Happy Labor Day! Labor Day weekend always makes me a little sad because it means the end of Summer. We’ve already been back to school for a few weeks, but this last long weekend makes me wistful for slower, unpredictable summer afternoons when just hopping in the car and heading to the beach is possible.
Made a promise to myself that I’m going to try and keep that summer mindset as we head into Fall. Not everything needs to be prepared down to the last detail five weeks ahead of time. We can always hop in the car and head somewhere spur of the moment. Or in today’s case, thaw some of my favorite southernbakedpie mini pies, pull out my beautiful bordallopinheiroofficial plates, make it fancy with printable fernandinapaperco place cards and create a little mini makeshift party.
