Michael - Studied economics and kept myself busy learning to surf and yoga. Photography was always a hobby.
How long has it been since you quit your day job and became Salty Wings?
@justjampal - Probably 1 month after we launched the project, so 5 months ago. It blew up and I was lucky enough to be able to drop my other photography and just focus on turning our little project into a business.
@micgoetze - I quit my day job 2 years before Salty Wings. Sometimes we all need to take some time off to figure shit out.
What was your first project as Salty Wings?
Photographing remote parts of the West Australian Coastline in ways no one had before.
What was your first paid job as Salty Wings?
Working for Tourism Western Australia - Capturing content on board The Great Escape yacht cruise from Perth - Dampier. We went to the #Abrolhosislands, #DirkHartogIsland, #Ningaloo and the #MontebelloIslands.
