In Taoist herbalism we aim to bring harmonious flow between YinYang through the 5 elemental organs, when this is happening we cultivate, augment and transmute the 3 Treasures Jing, Qi and Shen. This helps us to build and procure more life within ourselves so that physical and spiritual development may occur.
Let's look at how the cultivation of the treasures looks in old age. Jing - lack of exhaustion, strong bones and ability to heal tissue. Qi - Light on their feet, skip in their step, energy to pour into passion. Shen - Does not project on those around them, is funny, not an arsehole, beautiful presence, happy and has integrated their past.
