As always, we source the mushies that we want to be taking ourselves, and then share them with you guys, so that means we only have mushies that are wood grown (except cordy), not grown on grain or anything else that medicinal mushies don't grown on in the wild. It's like how we know that grain fed cows aren't ideal, same goes for medicinal mushies; cows do better on grass, mushies do better on wood. We like to keep it simple, as much in line with folk and tradition as possible. For millennia humans harvested mushrooms off wild wood, so we do that, end of story. We love all the different ways there are to grow mushies in the world, and it's fascinating to see where each of them fits in our society. Growing on wood the way we do means we can't pump out huge amounts of mushrooms in a short amount of time like the lab grown ones, so we're probs not the ones who will eventually supply the medicinal industry, but we do provide a nice slow grown niche mushie that is really effective, and growing them on wood is a huge factor in why that is.
