It may taste like a sweaty horse that has been rolling around in the grass, but my goodness it is effective.
We don't really focus on standardising or breeding herbs to have higher individual constituent percentages. We love that others do this, but it's not for us. We just do a thorough traditional extraction that draws as much of the energetic medicine into the menstruum. This means the extract remains balanced with the full array of known and unknown constituents coming out as they exist in the natural herb, and for us this makes it appropriate for more longterm usage; which is what tonic herbalism is all about. We also add the volatile oils back in, and in the case of ashwag it means it has a gnarly taste, but its because it's epic.
