This mantra is a lovely one in times of madness. The Sun is a bit special in Vedic culture, revered as the source of all life, of wisdom, and of insight. The Gayatri is a prayer for the embodiment of our own inner Sun, the light in us. It’s a transformative, illuminating (no pun intended) mantra.
