Is coffee good or bad? (Coffee replacement recipe below 😉☕️) Well, firstly get out of this convo, coffee is a herb, and it has medicinal actions, take the morality out of it. It isn’t a tonic, so not gentle or adaptogenic enough to have daily (or for some at all), and quality in how it’s grown and transported is important.
Since it’s a herb that can put stress on the body and adrenals when used excessively, it should be rotated. I’ll put a recipe that tastes delish below you can use to replace coffee if it’s time for you😉. However, coffee is a great gateway to brining more healing substances into your body. Every day hundreds of millions of people take time to pause and enjoy a hot herbal beverage, only problem is it’s just coffee most of the time, and the body needs more than one herb everyday to upgrade itself and live a long time. What we can begin to do is use this standing ritual and upgrade it, add medicinal mushrooms, good fats and Jing herbs to the brew so that you can deliver these epic medicines to the body. I’ll put a link in our bio to an instructional of how to add the herbs to your coffee that makes this really easy to do.
But for now! Here’s a recipe to replace your coffee and heal the adrenals of those who have smashed them with caffeine and or just want to replace it ☕️. JING IS DANDY RECIPE
INGREDIENTS
-250ml dandy blend (roasted dandelion and chicory root) brewed -tea (still hot)
-1 tsp Jing
-1 heaped tsp coconut oil
pinch sea salt
-optional: if you like sugar in your coffee add maple syrup or stevia to taste
METHOD
Blend in a high-speed blender or whisk over a low heat in a saucepan until combined. Enjoy immediately.
