If you’ve been to one of Mason’s talks you know that if you ever throw away one of our miron glass jars... a mushroom fairy dies 🍄🧚♀️... wish we were joking...⠀
⠀
That’s is because this particular type of glass is a gorgeous, deep violet/purple (you can see the colour when you hold them up to a light source) that protects your herbs from the entire visible spectrum of light, ensuring they stay super protected and potent in the effects.⠀
⠀
So what do you do with your old jars 🤷♀️?⠀
⠀
1️⃣Many folks buy bulk bags of herbs, keep them in the cupboard or fridge, and refill the smaller jars when needed👌🏼🎉⠀
⠀
2️⃣When we’re done with a jar we like to de-label them (soak in hot water and peel it off), then use this precious glass to add to our spice rack. Not only does this keep your spices fresher for longer, but looks amazing and further adds to the aesthetic of your kitchen.⠀
⠀
We know many of you are doing this already, please keep tagging us in images showing your good up-cycling work so we can share it out and encourage others to do so. ♻️❤️⠀
