There are two major points in the day that can determine whether we remain in harmony, or disharmony with our health.
The first is at sunrise when we go from Yin dominance to Yang dominance, if we do not bounce up in alignment with the Spring energy of the sunrise and remain dormant and flaccid, our body will not be able to stay in cohesion with the Yang that’s rising from the earth during these hours.
The second is in the afternoon when the energy begins to descend, when many people have an “afternoon crash”. If we try and stay erect and excitable (rather than serene) and in manifestation mode, we don’t support our bodies transformation, transmutation and transition from Yang to Yin.
Pro tip from the Dao:
Get up with the sun, ignore your minds apathy, breathe and get active.
As the sun descends, overcome your phobia of Yin - rest and engage with serenity. Set yourself up for sleep during the many hours before you head hits that healing pillow.
