Okay story time. I saw this bottle while at the LCBO and I had to have it bc it has a bull on it and I’m a serious Taurus. The next day I’m at lunch with my coworkers and one of them who is very educated in wine says he tried this amazing new wine called Toro Bravo and I was like “omg I just bought that last night wow what a coincidence.” Safe to say it lived up to the hype. It’s hard to say what is “special” about this wine but I think it’s because it’s SO well balanced (tannin, acidity, fruitiness, the whole shebang). It’s an $8 wine that tastes like a $50 wine.
Oh and I just googled this to get the price right for this post and there’s like 5 articles about how it’s sold out everywhere and it’s the wine of the year under $10 blah blah blah. Just go try it.
