Hey team! Kory here! Wanted to hop on and share this video tonight because this is really important to me. Recently, we’ve seen a major increase in TAFT knockoffs. Mostly on Facebook, these companies are using our photos, our name, our product names, and selling knockoff shoes and boots that don’t even come close to our quality. Over the last few months we’ve received hundreds of DMs asking if this or that Facebook Ad/website/company was legit. We’ve seen people leaving frustrated reviews on our page, with pictures of knockoff shoes attached - thinking they purchased the real thing at a crazy low price, only to be super disappointed by the quality. It wasn’t until we started to see this affect our customers that we knew we needed to step in. We’re fine when other brands copy us, but not when they pretend to straight up BE us. We’re so sorry to any of you who have been tricked by one of these ads. We know that not everyone can afford $250 shoes, and that’s okay. You’re part of the TAFT family whether you own our shoes or not. We want you here whether you buy our shoes or not. Truly. Tonight, we thought it might be helpful to demonstrate what exactly you get when you purchase a knockoff. We know the pricing can be temping, but we’re to tell you that you get what you pay for. If you see one of our shoes listed at a crazy low price, it’s safe to assume it isn’t really us. We sell on our website and two retail stores.
