The building blocks of good health aren't always what they seem-and nourishing your mind and body takes a lot more intentionality than the latest trend or supplement. Here are some intentional habits I recommend to help you return to the basics of good health this fall: 🌿 Balance your circadian rhythm. While the days are naturally getting shorter, it's the perfect time to start aligning your sleeping and eating routines with the sun. Slowly begin to implement habits like eating at the same time each day, sleeping and waking at the same time, and watching either the sunrise or sunset. Following your circadian rhythm will most likely increase your energy and can greatly benefit your mental health. 🌿 Prepare healthy fall meals. Homemade meals feel like a lot of extra work, but the benefits far outweigh the few extra minutes in the kitchen. Nutrient-dense foods help to fuel your brain, cells, and gut-leaving you more productive and better prepared to take on the day. 🌿 Try a gentle detox. Fall is the perfect time to reevaluate your life and get rid of things that aren't serving you. One way to do that? Detox. Yes, we do have a liver and kidneys that help us detox, but it's so difficult to depend solely on them when our culture is facing such extreme levels of toxins in our environment. We have to come at it from another angle, too. …and more!!
