4 Tea Drop Malabar Chai tea bags
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 cup vodka
3 tbsp Kahlua
3 tbsp chai simple syrup (see recipe)
3 tbsp thickened cream 1. To make the chai simple syrup, combine the water and sugar in a saucepan over high heat. Stir to dissolve the sugar, and bring the mixture to a boil. Remove from heat and add the tea bags. Steep for 15 minutes, then dispose of the teabags and stir in the vanilla. refrigerate the simple syrup. 2. To make one cocktail, fill a glass with ice. Combine the vodka, Kahlua and chai syrup. Add the thickened cream and stir. Garnish with cinnamon and star anise (optional) and serve.
