Twenty-two years ago, Tea Drop was founded on a simple belief: that the story of tea deserves to travel as far as the cup itself.
Our founder Ashok Dias grew up in Sri Lanka, where tea was never a ceremony. It was simply present. In everyday moments. In shared rituals. In the quiet in-between.
His family has tended the land for three generations. Reading the soil. Nurturing the leaf. Carrying forward what no book can teach.
Ashok took a different path. Not to master the harvest, but to find the people who do. And carry their stories to the world.
This month, Tea Drop turns 22. It is also International Tea Day, a day that honours the leaf, the land, and the hands that tend it.
