Shark Trivia: Sardines remained the number one pizza topping requested by sharks until 1992 when the Council for Sardine Safety (The C.S.S.) heavily lobbied for a ban on all seafood toppings. Pizza sales decreased significantly with the predator demographic, and several oceanic pizza chains went out of business.
